The estimates in Mitchell 1 labor guides are created through a strictly confidential and proprietary methodology that applies hundreds of years of collective industry experience, time studies and industry interactions. As a company policy, Mitchell 1 keeps this methodology confidential and does not share it.

Mitchell 1 labor guides are designed to focus on labor related to the automotive aftermarket. While Mitchell 1 strives to provide the most accurate aftermarket labor guides in the industry, Mitchell 1 is constantly updating the thousands of estimates in its labor guides to reflect new information as it is obtained by Mitchell 1.
