What are the system requirements for SUN Collision Software?

***Note: IE6 and IE7 are not compatible. With IE8, you will be required to install an SVG viewer. New features will only work with latest version of Internet Explorer.
SUN Collision seems very similar to Mitchell 1’s auto repair software (ProDemand). What are the benefits of subscribing to SUN Collision?
SUN Collision and Mitchell 1 are both Snap-on companies, so we collaborate with each other on product development. There are many similarities between our products; however, SUN Collision is the only Snap-on company that provides collision repair information along with mechanical information to aftermarket industry.
Which makes & models are included in SUN Collision software?
The database includes a complete lineup of OEM-licensed procedures for both collision and mechanical repairs for 26 standard makes, and is updated regularly. Collision information covers 2004 through 2022 vehicles, and mechanical information dates back to 1964.
What if SUN doesn’t have the information I’m looking for?
Contact our Product Content support team at 877-840-1973 and press option 3. If we don’t have the vehicle in our system yet, we can still help by emailing or faxing the information to you.
How many users come with a subscription to SUN Collision? Can I share my account with another shop?
The SUN Collision subscription includes 5 concurrent users. The software is licensed to the location that signed up for the product. You cannot share it with any other shop.
What training and technical support do you offer?
A sales representative will provide personalized training for the first 30 days after you subscribe to SUN Collision to ensure everyone in the shop is comfortable using the program. You can also call our customer service group for additional training after those 30 days.
We have a team of ASE Certified Master Techs you can call if you need help locating information within our product during regular working hours. In addition, you can get support through our online SureTrack community that provides real-word tips and fixes.
Who is part of the SureTrack Community, and how do I access these real-word fixes??
The SureTrack Community comprises thousands of professional mechanics and technicians who are subscribed to Snap-on products that include a link to the community. Over the years, we’ve captured millions of fixes and tips in our SureTrack database. You can not only get help with difficult vehicle questions but can contribute to the community by answering other technicians’ questions and share tips for vehicle collision repair.
The community includes a robust automated notification and subscription system which helps you get answers to your questions quickly, typically within a few minutes. The community has many members who monitor questions for particular vehicle lines to ensure that the questions get answered quickly.
Once you have finished repairing the vehicle, you are encouraged to close out your question with the fix, which then becomes part of the greater SureTrack database to help future technicians who may come across the same issue.
In which countries is SUN Collision available?
SUN Collision is available throughout the USA, Canada, Mexico, Central American, South America, and US territories that have US zip code.
Can I cancel the contract whenever I want?
You have 30 days from the date your order is processed to cancel. You will be held to contract after that.
When will be my first bill due?
We have a delayed billing policy. So, if you sign up today your bill won’t be due till or around 20th of next month. This is subject to change.
